This is a long-running Aussie band made up of one guy who used to be in Deströyer 666 and one guy who used to be in Bestial Warlust—so you know pretty much exactly what you are getting on this thing. This is chaotic, flailing Death/Black Metal that reminds me a lot of shit like Angelcorpse, Diocletian, or Blood Storm, with all the good and bad things that implies. The songs all sound a lot alike, the riffs are so densely packed that they step all over each other, and the guitar sound is reined in so you can try to hear what's going on. This has a lot of feral energy and it will show you a good, evil time, but it doesn't have anything that really stands out about it. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
