More insane death metal from these Australians. Evil Proclaimed doesn't really bring anything new to the table for those who have heard the band's previous material: Fast, brutal, razor-sharp death metal served with Abominator's take-no-prisoners approach. If there's anything bad to say about this, it's that the album is a bit lacking as far as variety goes – there isn't much, really. It starts pedal-to-the-metal and it's that way until the end and everything kind of blends together without anything standing out. Still, it's definitely a good listen if you're in the mood for aural destruction. Good stuff. |
