I thought Warmoon Lord were going soft on us when I heard the opening track, "The Tragic Moon," but fortunately that's not the case. OK, I say, "going soft," but that's still pretty heavy and raw for most people. Anyway, once past this one, the band are back to their old self with face-ripping, violent raw black metal that would even get ticketed on an Autobahn. The vocals are hate-filled and undecipherable, somewhat low in the mix and letting the music do the talking, though they certainly do add a lot to the violent vibe of the album. If you like fast black metal that's raw as fuck, rips everything to shreds and is anything but pretty-sounding, this album will do the trick. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
