This is a nice little slab of fast, aggressive thrash firmly rooted in the old school, a rough mix of mid-80s U.S. and German thrash. There are those harsher, more aggressive vocals from the German school of the time with the mostly cleaner thrash of Bay Area thrash, though I'd say the music here is rawer than that, more in your face. Throw in a bit of more lighthearted "party thrash" to keep things interesting and more diversified. I really like mix of darker songs with the catchier, fun songs on offer here. Omission are one of hundreds (thousands by now?) of bands doing old-school thrash these days, but they don't sound like they're just rehashing things that have been done before, so this is a different offering in a sea of clones, the guys somehow having found a way to do their own thing while paying homage to the pioneers. Check it out.
