With a name like Aborted, you should know what to expect when this starts playing: fast, brutal, relentless grindcore-infused death metal. There's no shortage of speed and brutality here and at times it gets quite chaotic, both musically and vocally. It's almost like a barrage of noise at times and you need to really pay attention to sort out what's coming out of the speakers. The vocals are often out of this world, very screechy and nightmarish (hey, it's called Vault of Horrors for a reason), getting dangerously close to Anaal Nathkrakh territory at times. Long story short, this is pretty insane from beginning to end and sure sounds good at the end of a bad day when you need something fast and brutal that doesn't hold back to exorcise your demons.
