Two-track demo of sorts for this Jordanian band who are really into the suicidal/depressive thing, and I can't say I am very impressed with it. For one, the recording is bad, and I don't mean "raw and grim" I mean just bad. The sound is muffled and muted, the guitar sound is rubbish, and the vocals are almost inaudible. Every other factor in the music is actually inaudible, and I can't hear any drums at all. The riffs are repetitive, trite, and quite dull. They pretty much just consist of tremolo picking the same three notes in turn for the duration of the song. It's not that this is bad, it's just so amateurish and inept it barely qualifies as music. |
