Now that's the stuff. These two guys play their black metal raw and dirty with a lo-fi angle that's not overdone. It's well balanced between straightforward, kind of monotone and crushing raw black metal and a more rocking aspect that's not without reminding me of Carpathian Forest (remember them?) in the 2000s. The croaky rasps are the icing on the cake; raw and evil while almost begging you to sing along. A cool debut in the genre, and hopefully there will be more to come. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
