Witching Hour have a new album coming out in a few months, but this is not it, this is a reissue of their debut from 2009, which has, thankfully, not been remastered or fucked with. This is a band about heads-down, bullet-belted Black Thrash in the same vein as classic Sodom, Nokturnal, or Desaster—pretty much what you expect a German band in this style to sound like. The riffs come fast and furious, and even if the guitar sound is a bit thin and the riffs are not A-grade, there are a lot of them, and the band keeps their energy level amped up and never slows down.
