Newish band from Finland who play blasting black metal like it's the '90s all over again, even including a weird 2:55 "interlude" that is about as non-metal as it gets—not fond of it, but it may be meant to give the listener some time to breathe in the middle of this savage little slab of fine black metal. Other than the sharp, grinding guitars, the vocals kind of steal the show here, spiteful and evil as fuck, you can't ignore them. It's stuff that's been done before, but it sure gets the head banging. |
