This demo from Germany's Bitter Price, a new band formed in 2024, was independently released back in February 2025 and got a CD release courtesy of Witches Brew in January 2026. They play melodic traditional heavy metal, and the singer has a strong, clear voice in the mold of Bruce Dickinson, so let the Iron Maiden comparisons begin. There are also a few other NWOBHM groups like Grim Reaper and Samson and even some Thin Lizzy in Bitter Price's sound. The songwriting is pretty standard, with neither anything amazing nor anything awful, and Bitter Price aren't doing anything yet to distinguish themselves from the myriads of bands out there, but it is early. A band to keep an eye on for trad metal fans.
