I had only heard one song from this band on their split with Voorhees, Disciples of the Machete, back in 2024. Now we get a full 40 minutes of their crushing, doomy, dark brand of death metal. This is not a picker-upper: the music here is like a crushing blow to the head, very dark with a negative atmosphere throughout, on the fence between suspense/horror and total mindfuck. It's a bit like your run-of-the-mill slow to mid-paced death metal mixed in with some technical work with a visceral delivery that gives the listener the impression that the end is near. Kind of an end-of-the-world vibe, if you will. They sound different overall, which is cool in my book. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
