I am always wary of stuff that's too dungeon synth, as while it can be fun, it's not metal and doesn't belong on here, but sometimes the dividing line is hard to pin down. This is definitely in the vein, but the synth passages on this are more like ambient interludes, and when the Black Metal cranks up, it is some good shit. The moody keys and slashing, arcane riffs remind me of Evilfeast or Battle Dagorath, all of it descended from the classic Summoning sound. This is a long album of long songs, and if you like moody, gloomy, atmospheric Black Metal, then you will like this as much as I do.
