This is a fun album that I've been spinning for a while, and it doesn't get old. This is speedy, upbeat heavy metal with a modern sound that's nonetheless deeply rooted in classic heavy metal. Crunchy, catchy guitar work calls for a lot of air guitar throughout and most of the melodies are almost guaranteed to get stuck in your head right away, and the loud, pounding drums make sure that this is all hammered in your head. The powerful, somewhat distinctive vocals are front and centre, also purveyors of memorable vocal lines with a good mix of melody and aggression. Everything is there for playing air instruments, headbanging and throwing your fist in the air. I really like how loud, powerful and heavy the album sounds, and it's nice to hear something that sounds more original for a change. A band that's hopefully going places.
