A kind of post-blackish crust/hardcore hybrid here, which makes for something a little different. The album's title, 80 Years, refers to 80 years since the victory over fascism, but also how it's making a return. With that kind of topic, you know right there that it's brutal—and fast—music that expresses a lot of anger. The vocals are especially in your face, crazy screams that will scare the neighbours away, and the music is mostly pedal to the metal except for a few passages here and there. It's an EP that's about the length of some singles, so it's over quickly, but it packs more punch than many full-length albums. |
