I had to check which Cromlech this was, as there are a lot of them. This is not the Epic Metal band from Canada, but a rather odd Black Metal band from Germany, working their second album of melodic, slightly off-kilter stuff. This is a one-man band and sounds like you'd expect it to from that, with decent recording but a mix that is kind of all over the place, and drums that are pretty basic (and might be a machine) combined with a lot of keys for a symphonic edge that is meant to remind us of classic Emperor. This has an underground charm, but the songwriting is more shapeless than it needs to be, and the songs don't have a lot of coherence. Some of the keyboard sound effects are annoying and overused, so they wear out their welcome long before the song is over. This isn't bad, but it isn't really good either.
