Solidly traditionalist second-wave Black Metal from Norway. . . I guess? I mean, this is decent. It has a good sound and good enough riffs, but why is it here? I know Hellhammer is drumming on this, and that gives it some kind of cred, but do we really need more bands slavishly aping sounds that were already well explored thirty years ago? I'm not saying everything has to be innovative or try to break the mold, but maybe do literally anything to make your music stand out from what a thousand bands have done before. |
