Well this is a lot of fun. Against Evil are a band from India who crank out pummeling, straight-up Heavy Metal in the vein of bands like Priest or Running Wild. This is go-for-the-throat stuff that reminds me more than a little of Grey Wolf, right down to the rough-and-ready vocals of guitarist M Sravan Chakravarthi, who has a very authoritative croak, even if I wonder how this band would sound with a powerful melodic singer—I think that would take them to a whole new level. This is a band built on riffs, speed, and catchiness, and they don't disappoint. If you like brass-knuckled shit like Defenders of the Faith or Under Jolly Roger then you will like this.
