Eleventh album in Desaster's long career, and it holds no surprises for fans of this venerable band. I thought this band hit a new high with Oath of an Iron Ritual, but that was almost a decade ago, and since then they have cranked out material that is good, but not as good. This rips out the slaytanic riffage that has always been Desaster's trademark, digging into the blackened earth of the days of early Sodom and Kreator. This time, I think the production is a bit restrained, and the guitars don't have that snarling edge I like. This is a worthy addition to the catalog, but it's not the best they can do.
