This is competent Blackened Thrash from Aussie band Stormbane, who don't have a label but put out this EP anyway. This is short, but well-produced, well-played, and pretty sharply written. There's nothing that really jumps at me as awesome about this, but it is plenty fun while it is on. This is a band worth watching. They may be treading in the shadow of the mighty Bestial Warlust, but who isn't? A taste of a band that could be awesome someday soon.
