Figment Paradise is already the fourth studio album from Bulgarian Death Metal act The Revenge Project, and damn, how much does it kick ass? Imagine combining early Vader with Monstrosity and Malevolent Creation and you have an idea what type of combo we are talking about here. The Revenge Project plays definitely old school Death Metal, combining some of the best ingredients of both the Floridian sound and stuff similar to Ultimate Incantation by Polish pioneers Vader. Their music is all-around enjoyable. The Revenge Project's Death Metal flows really effortlessly and its crispy, in-yer-face dynamic has enough variation in between the songs. I don't think I have to say more... Just make sure you check them out if mainly American (i.e. Floridian) sounding Death Metal is close to your heart. |
