I was hoping this would sound better than this band's last album, but instead it's worse. The mix is still shit, the recording is still rough-in-a-bad-way, and the songs are more simplistic and annoying. They tried to tighten their arrangements and instead made them stupider. The vocals are a horrible growly bark that adds nothing to the music and gets old in a big hurry, and none of the songs manage to create any kind of feeling or atmosphere at all. Avoid. |
