This album was released in 2006, and I can find no evidence of a reissue, so the Gods alone know how it ended up in my promo file, but here it is. Fortunately, this is a pretty cool disc. Scorched-Earth are are a stripped-down old-school Death/Thrash band with a brass-knuckled riff approach and a Motorhead kind of rocking feel to their music. This is a good time in the vein of other stripped down bands like Warhammer or Morningstar, even if it does not really manage to rise above its influences and produce any classic tunes. |
