Another Black Metal band? Really? How many can we possibly have? No, don't answer that. Triumfall are a Serbian band that play a highly melodic stripe of BM. They have some good riffs and melodies with a decent guitar sound, but the rest of the production is flat and uninteresting. The songs lack focus and go on way too long, and they all sound kind of the same. Vocals are a flat growly rasp that sounds like 50,000 other BM shriekers. I would like to have something really definitive to say about this, but it is really just kind of there. You won't hate it while it's on, but when it's over you won't care about it at all. This album defines 'generic'. |
