This is very raw and basic black metal that is surprisingly catchy at times thanks to the occasional black 'n' roll moments. But this is mostly rawer than raw, with some tracks almost sounding like demo material—in a good way—with a lo-fi production that's almost spooky. A lot of this could be straight out of the garage bands of the '90s when bands tried to out-raw each other. I've used the word "raw" multiple times so far, so you know what you're getting yourself into. It's not pretty sounding despite some noise, ambient and even folky moments, so if you are looking for a hellish aural journey into the depths of hell, this will do the trick.
