Quite the accurate album title from these Spanish death metallers who formed way back in the early '90s and released a few demos, a split and an album before disappearing and then resurrecting in 2019. This is their third album since 2020. This is fast, pedal-to-the-metal death metal that has a bit of an old-school vibe but is more modern-sounding when it comes to speed and technicality. Their death metal is reminiscent of the U.S. East Coast sound, kind of a mix of the New York and Florida scenes. Speed is really the name of the game here, Unbounded Terror being insanely relentless in delivering some face-smashing metal of death that will snap your neck if you try to headbang to it. I can't say this is especially remarkable if you're looking for something different, but Something is Rotten in Humanity (no kidding) is chock-full of fast, take-no-prisoner straightforward death metal with the occasional technical edge. If you're looking to burn some extra calories, try to keep up with this sucker. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
