Raw and dark black metal is what Tyrannic have in store for us on Tyrannic Desolation. Forget about gimmicks, female vocals and what have you; this album makes us travel back to the '90s with this chaotic, crunchy and messy black metal that sounds like a trip down to hell. It's relatively well produced but that doesn't take anything away from its rawness and pure metal delivery, and the vocals are the thing of nightmare, where a croaky, raspy style meets some soul-reaching screams from beyond the grave.
