A band name ending in "hammer" and they don't sound like Hellhammer? Well, damn! ;) Fuckhammer is a death metal band that's hell-bent on crushing the listener with some old-school doomy parts as well. These guys aren't all about speed here—though there are, of course, some speedy passages—and opt for slow to mid-paced crunchy, heavy death metal inspired by both the old and newer schools, with their influences a little all over the place, and, on top of that, with some doomy songs (or parts of songs) strongly borrowing from '70s doom, there's no lack of variety on Scorched Earth Prophets. Check this out if you're looking for something that doesn't quite sound like everyone else.
