Having a bad day and you're in need of a fun, uplifting, '80s-style heavy metal album? Look no further. Angel Sword's World Fighter is just what the doctor ordered. Soaring, catchy vocal lines with infectious choruses that I dare you not to want to sing along to, cool little guitar riffs and solos right out of the golden age of heavy metal, there's no way you can sit still and not want to headbang and raise your fist in the air. The music has a bit of a commercial vibe to it as it's so damn catchy as to be relatively accessible but the most pussified two-legged entities, but there's more than enough crunch in here to satisfy metalheads just looking for a traditional heavy metal album like they used to do them. A bit on the short side at 32 minutes, but no one is stopping you from hitting play again. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
