And so Bulgarian thrash horde Terravore continues on with no signs of slowing down. Hell, they just keep pushing the pedal to the metal harder with each release, and their latest, Spiral of Downfall, is no exception. Just like last time, this is a band all about the aggression and energy that first erupted out of Kreator and Exodus during the Golden Age, and they just keep getting better at emulating their influences while never being strict knockoffs. This is brutal, ripping thrash that bombards you with vicious, neck-snapping riffs with the speed and ferocity of a hurricane that refuses to slow down or lean too hard on melody. I'd name standout tracks, but you're better off listening to the album until you violently go deaf, because Terravore do not fuck around and spit out half-assed filler. No, they tear out your lungs and present them to your screaming face as they belt out first-rate thrash in its most malicious and intense form. Killer shit. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
