Second full-length from LA band Apparition, and it is always a pleasure when something sounds exactly like what you expected, but is better than you thought it would be. Apparition play crunching, riff-oriented Death Metal of the classic Scandinavian school. It's good to hear an album this dedicated to the old ways, and to hear it done this well.
