Been a geologic epoch since I reviewed this band's second disc waaaaay back in 2008, holy shit. This is a Rogga Johansson outfit—the man of a thousand bands—or 50, which is still too many. All of his bands are emblematic of Swedish Death Metal, and this is one of his flagship acts, dating back to 2007, though they have reformed and broken up since then, with only Rogga himself remaining from the old days. I keep expecting the man to spread himself too thin, but the songwriting on here is still rock-solid. I do find the production oddly weak, with a muffled sound and not enough power in the guitars. This should sound massive and crushing, but it misses that edge that makes Death Metal sound feral and destructive. Turn it up, guys.
