This is a band who have been around for like 15 years but I had never heard them before this. Bunker 66 are a Black/Thrash band from Italy, and they play the kind of stripped-and-ripped-down shit where you can practically hear the bullet belts and spiked armbands. This isn't an album, but seems to be a compilation of tracks the band have recorded for the no fewer than 7 splits they have appeared on through the years. From one look at the cover art, you can tell this band is all about early Sodom, and that is pretty much what you need to know about the music on offer here, as this is raw, primitive, in-your-face proto-thrash with that blackened kick you can't avoid if you are as obsessed with Obsessed By Cruelty as this band obviously is. If this is the shit you are into then Bunker 66 are definitely worth your time.
