I reviewed Millennium's third album, A New World, back in 2020, but I had to look that up because it was so nondescript, it left no impression whatsoever. Their fourth album, The Sign of Evil, is perhaps a little better but not much. These guys, who started in the '80s as part of the NWOBHM, play punchy traditional metal full of crunchy riffs, gravelly vocals, etc. that are by no means bad, but like the last album are pretty generic. The sound is decent with a modern production that is loud and boisterous and if this was on at a show in between bands, it would get the job done. Beyond that, however, I can't think of many reasons to own The Sign of Evil. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
