A band from the chaotic lineage of Speed Metal, following bands like Scanner, Revenge, Exciter, or Ravage with high-speed riffs and vocals with more attitude than ability. This kind of thing lives and dies by the quality of the riffage and the sheer energy on display. Bloody Nightmare have pretty good riffs, if not as good as they could be, and they have a lot of energy. The production is a little muffled, so it does rob the guitars of some of their power, and vocalist Alex Daza has a whole lot of attitude, but he's just kind of adequate overall. In the end this is pretty imitative of other bands and albums, and it's fun while it's on, but you won't really remember it.
