I was going to review this CD about a week ago.  If I had done so, I would have completely destroyed it.  Well, maybe not completely.  I gave it another chance yesterday and some of the stuff I really disliked suddenly sounded much better.  What can I say, we the number of power metal bands out there, my expectations are very high when I buy one of those, especially after hearing so many good things, as in Edguy's case.

This is by all means a good power metal album, no doubt about it.  I just didn't hear anything in there that made me go "hell yeah!".  Just another power metal album, out of so many.  Don't get me wrong however, those guys are for real, the singer and the musicians doing a very good job.  But I find the whole thing a little too cheesy, and that really gets on my nerves.  No really.  Some parts sound a little too poppy.  Some people will love, some people will hate.  Somehow I ended up somewhere in the middle.  You be the judge.
