Death/Doom can be done really well, but it runs the risk of being boring, and even though this gets a good guitar sound and wrings out some nicely atonal riffs, the compositions just drag, and the monotony kills all your interest by track 3. I always want to give bands a chance, but this is mostly just dull. The riffs and the sound are solid, but the songwriting just isn't there.
