Debut album from the land of hugs and puppies—also known as Poland. This is a band who are unabashedly digging into a mix of second-wave Black Metal with their more percussive Death Metal attack. It really reminds me of the mid period Enthroned albums like Tetra Karcist or Marduk albums like World Funeral, though I have to say this does not lean as hard on the relentless speed. There are some good musical ideas in this, but they don't always seem to actually mix well with one another. So the riffs are good, but the songwriting is a little disjointed, even if it has a lot of energy. A band that might bear watching.
