Debut for this Polish band who are definitely showing some promise. This is highly melodic black metal that has a definite second-wave feel. You get rolling compositions with understated tremolo work, some startlingly good riffs and melodies, and rather one-dimensional vocals that don’t really add anything to the music. This reminds me somewhat of Behemoth’s early works, but obviously with a much better production job, as this is pretty polished and does not sound in any way "raw." There’s nothing revolutionary about this, but it creates a mood and keeps it going.
