There was a time the Seattle metal scene was an epicenter of great stuff, but that was admittedly a long time ago, and we are far from the days of early Queensrÿche, Metal Church, and Sanctuary, but with young bands like this, those days might just come back. Telomyras are a new band from the Jet City, and this is their debut EP, due for general release in February. As of now you can just grab a few advance tracks from their Bandcamp page, and you should definitely give them a listen, as they are just a rock-solid Trad Metal band in the old US school, in the line of greats like Helstar, Liege Lord, and Attacker. No gimmicks, no tricks, just crunching metal to the bone, powerful vocals, and songwriting that is a cut above the standard in complexity and ambition. A band to watch.
