This is one of many bands named Triumph, this one hailing from Nevada. This is about as far removed as the legendary Canadian rock bands as it can be, this band here playing raw, aggressive and violent black metal that’s very much in the so-called "war metal" mould, albeit not quite as chaotic as the big names of the genre. It’s kind of monotone in that there isn’t really something here that stands out above the rest, it’s really pedal to the metal from the beginning to end and it’s as heavy and violent as the genre calls for. Nothing that hasn’t been done before (I really need to stop writing that all the time), but it checks all the boxes.
