This is a band so French I knew where they were from without having to look. Very much a part of that vibrant lineage that leads through bands like Himinbjorg and Belenos, this is melodic and atmospheric, with a lot of melody packed into the Black Metal assault. There are some more acoustic and ambient elements, but overall this is pretty hard-edged, with a lot of aggression. If you miss that era 15 years ago when everything from the French underground was awesome, this will give you what you want.
