Are you one of the old school thrash/death metal fans that have become disappointed or disillusioned with your metal heroes from the past being able to recapture the glory of a time gone by? Do you find yourself wondering if you will ever again find an album that will kick you in the ass the way classics like "Reign in Blood", "Symbolic" or any of numerous others you can think of? Well this band may be the answer to your unholy metal prayers.

Dew Scented is a band from Germany and they play a style of thrash/death metal that is really reminiscent of the golden age of the genre. Leaning towards the influence of Slayer in their prime Dew Scented has created an album that will surely get them more than a little praise. This album kicks ass from beginning to end with absolutely killer tunes and perfectly clear production that really highlights the great guitar work. The guitars are extremely clear which really adds to the devastating riffs that threaten to crush in your skull. The songs are catchy and well written and are even better the louder you hear them. I can just imagine how good this would be in concert in the middle of a big ass mosh pit…:)

There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this album. It is just that damn good and already one of my favorites of the new year. I am also positive I will not be the only one that thinks this highly of this disc. If you are a fan of Slayer, Death, The Haunted, The Crown or any of the bands in this same genre you will absolutely love this album. Now this is MOTHERFUCKIN' METAL!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
