Nothing too fancy here. Portugal's Graves present a very raw, basic, chilling and haunting form of black with Liturgia da Blasfémia. It's not pretty in the least, with straight-out-of-hell vocals, chaotic compositions reminiscent of some of the most basic stuff of the early second wave of black metal, all glued together with a dark, fucked-up atmosphere. Not for everyone, but it fits the bill when you want something completely messed up. |
