Hailing from the Third World nation in progress known as the USA, Kömmand are here to take us back to a more innocent time when Black/Thrash metal was still wobbling out of the bowels of dirty, punky bands like early Venom and Hellhammer to happily rape nuns and slaughter goats (and vice versa). Musically, this is what would charitably be called "rough", as the only philosophy of this style of music is to sound as evil and underground as possible, musicality and depth be damned! It's neither revolutionary nor exemplary of the genre, but if you're looking for something violent, dirty, and raw, Savage Overkill will work well enough. |
