Released around the same time as their single Infernal Death, Son of Mourning is even more of the Blackened Death Metal that this duo (now a proper four-piece) does best. With killer melodies, Juho Koski's bone-dry shrieks of torment and even some keyboards for added depth, they just go around acting like anything in Black/Death Metal that happened after Dissection is for fucking posers, and they're good enough to pull that attitude off. This release is limited to 500 copies, so it may be hard to track down, but it's well worth the effort. |
