Singles seem to be becoming increasingly popular, likely due to the vinyl uprising. This is being released in digital and 7" vinyl format. Spell of Blood/Blue Blood (looks like they like blood) is very short but packs a lot of death/thrashing punch. "Blue Blood" is the 2019 version, which I cannot compare to the original since I don't have it (too lazy to look on YouTube; hey, at least I'm honest) but it's very much in the same vein as "Spell of Blood", making the pair a very nice, coherent match. Atrocity are going for the "pedal to the metal" style here, mostly fast paced and heavy from beginning to end and with death growls to match (and those growls sound as sick as the artwork looks-awesome!) I'm reminded a little bit of Cannibal Corpse here and there and this definitely has a U.S. East Coast death metal vibe to it. Cool stuff.
