Sometimes I wonder if every citizen of Finland is in a metal band. Infernarium is another band that delivers raw black metal in that cold Finnish fashion. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but it's well done, which is what matters most. Their raw delivery is augmented by dark melodies that help create an omnipresent hateful and haunting atmosphere that really gets to you. This is certainly one case of the cover art being an accurate representation of the music inside. The transition from fast to slow passages and back is so smooth that the whole thing flows like it's a 40-minutes soundtrack to hell. Kadotuksen harmonia is the kind of album that you want to immerse yourself into, and Infernarium sure make it easy for you.
