WAN's latest is a rather short EP that nonetheless packs quite a punch. Catchy, raw black/thrash is what's on offer here and the short length will just leave you begging for more. There is really nothing groundbreaking here but, as I (too) often say, sometimes that doesn't matter as long as it's well executed. This is mid to fast-paced blackened thrash with attitude and the damn songs just get stuck in your head, just begging for the lethal combination of fist in the air, air-guitar and foot-tapping while worshipping Satan or whatever floats your boat. Catchy riffs and melodies, raspy vocals and not pretentious in the least. |
