This is a reissue of a 1997 demo, Asmodée's only release before they split up. That sure explains the music as this is very much '90s raw black metal served with the French sauce of the time, that is rather minimalistic, chaotic, anything but melodic and, damn, when you have the ear for it, it's cool stuff. There's nothing pretty about this, folks, and back in those days that's very much how the French played their black metal. Limited to 333 copies, so get it while it's hot, if it's not sold out already. |
