Unsurprisingly, Human Agony hail from British Columbia, Canada, home of such brutal outfits as Blasphemy. This tape is pretty short at just over 22 minutes, but it's one hell of a lesson in brutal blackened death metal. Chaotic playing, barked vocals that torture the soul, rarely ever giving you a second to catch your breath. It's heavy, it's raw, it's messy and it just fits the bill when your mood calls for brutality. |
